1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Gen-Mumins educational programs and website operated by Global Awakening. By enrolling in our programs or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Program Enrollment
Eligibility
- Programs are designed for children aged 5-18 years
- Enrollment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian
- Accurate information must be provided during registration
Class Attendance
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes
- Advance notice should be given for any absences
- Make-up classes may be arranged at our discretion
- Consistent attendance is essential for progress
3. Fees and Payment
- Program fees are due at the beginning of each month
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or online payment
- Late payments may result in temporary suspension of services
- Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances
- Price changes will be communicated with 30 days' notice
4. Online Learning Environment
Technical Requirements
- A stable internet connection is required
- A computer or tablet with camera and microphone
- Compatible software (e.g., Zoom) must be installed
Conduct
- Students must behave respectfully towards teachers and peers
- Appropriate attire should be worn during classes
- Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class
- Recording of classes without permission is prohibited
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to worksheets, presentations, videos, and content, are the intellectual property of Gen-Mumins/Global Awakening. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without written permission.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
- To cancel enrollment, provide written notice at least 14 days before the next billing cycle
- Refunds for the current month are generally not provided
- In case of cancellation by Gen-Mumins, a pro-rata refund will be issued
- Medical or exceptional circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
7. Parental Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
- Ensuring their child attends scheduled classes
- Supervising young children during online classes
- Communicating with teachers about any concerns
- Providing a suitable learning environment at home
- Ensuring homework and assignments are completed
8. Limitation of Liability
Gen-Mumins/Global Awakening shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes, as success depends on individual effort and commitment.
9. Safeguarding
The safety and well-being of children is our priority. Our teachers are trained in safeguarding practices. Any concerns about a child's welfare will be handled according to UK safeguarding guidelines.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or website notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
